Haha! Almost got us there! Of course you don't put gasoline or diesel in your travel trailer, but you do pull them using a vehicle. The other rule of thumb we use when answering this question is for every 100 pounds of pulled weight, reduces your fuel efficiency by about 2%.
Should I rent a motorhome or travel trailer?
Well, that is really up to you! If you have a vehicle capable of pulling a travel trailer, then that might be what you're looking for! If you don't then we would 100% recommend renting a motorhome. More specifically, if you're a first time renter, we would suggest a Class B or C motorhome before graduating to a large Class A RV.
